Before SUNNAI was founded, our founder spent years in close dialogue with a German friend — not only a long-term business partner, but also a senior executive at CASO Design. What started as professional exchange gradually became something deeper: open, honest discussions between people who both understood the market and the realities of manufacturing.

The more we talked, the clearer one problem became.

The disorder in this industry was not caused by technical limitations, but by choices. Too often, products looked impressive on paper, yet failed where it mattered most: on site, over time, and at scale.

Beautiful specifications could not hide temperature fluctuations, condensation issues, batch inconsistency, or declining long-term reliability. And when these problems surfaced, it was never the factory that paid the price, but the brand owners, distributors, and after-sales teams standing in front of the customer.

Through these conversations, we reached a shared understanding:

true differentiation does not live in parameter lists.

It lives in consistency, stability, and risk control over years of real-world use.

If we were to enter this industry, we would choose the harder path — the long-term one. We would focus on critical materials, structural design, door systems, and process control. We would invest early in aging tests, validation, and production discipline, not after problems appeared in the field.

SUNNAI enters the international refrigeration arena with a clear ambition: to build systems that perform reliably beyond the specification sheet. From the very start, an in-house R&D department is established, laying the foundation for independent product development. In parallel, the company begins applying for international certifications, setting quality and compliance as non-negotiable standards from day one.

While many manufacturers were still focused on output, SUNNAI became the first Chinese manufacturer to introduce a European ERP system into daily operations. This step marked a shift toward process transparency, batch traceability, and disciplined production control — essential prerequisites for long-term consistency and scalable quality.

SUNNAI develops China’s first outdoor wine cooler, addressing one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: condensation in changing outdoor environments. Through structural design, airflow management, and material selection, the solution proved that outdoor refrigeration could be both stable and reliable, even beyond controlled indoor conditions.

With years of accumulated refrigeration expertise, SUNNAI introduces China’s first independently developed Dry Aged Meat Cabinet. Instead of following trends, the development focused on system balance — temperature, humidity, airflow, and hygiene working together as one. This marked SUNNAI’s entry into high-barrier, professional-grade refrigeration applications.

SUNNAI becomes the first domestic factory capable of delivering a full range of Push-to-Open built-in wine coolers. Designed for modern kitchens and architectural integration, this milestone reflects the company’s growing collaboration with designers and its ability to merge precision engineering with refined aesthetics.

SUNNAI is officially recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. This acknowledgment reflects not only technological capability, but also sustained investment in R&D, testing infrastructure, and systematic quality control across product generations.

Awarded the title of “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative Enterprise,” SUNNAI reinforces its long-term strategy: concentrating on core refrigeration competencies, continuously refining processes, and delivering highly specialized solutions for demanding professional scenarios.
